CBD Lemon Honey Chicken and Green Beans
Ingredients (Serves 3-4)
Honey Lemon Chicken and Green Beans
1 1/2 Lbs. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces 3 tablespoons low
12 ounces green beans trimmed and cut into bite sized pieces (about 2 cups)
2 Tbsp. rice wine vinegar
3 Tbsp. sodium soy sauce
salt and pepper
sesame seeds for top
Honey Lemon Sauce:
3/4 low sodium chicken broth
1/4 cup honey or more/less to taste
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 garlic clove minced
Juice and zest from 1 large lemon
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
4 doses CBD Oil Tincture
Combine the chicken, rice wine vinegar, and soy sauce in a large zip-top bag. Toss until the chicken is evenly mixed. Refrigerate marinating chicken for at least 30 minutes to 8 hours. (In a small bowl, whisk the sauce ingredients together until combined (cornstarch should no longer be visible). Set aside.
Heat a tablespoon of oil in a large skillet or pan over medium heat. Add green beans and season with salt to taste. Stir and cook for 3-4 minutes, until beans are bright green but still crisp. Move and set aside on a large plate or bowl.
Add Tbsp. of olive oil to the skillet and cook over medium heat. Empty the chicken from the bag into the hot skillet. Season chicken with a pinch of salt and pepper. Saute for 5-7 minutes or until cooked well. Use slotted spoon, adding chicken to the plate with the green beans.
Pour the whisked lemon honey sauce into a empty saute pan. Cook over medium for 2-3 minutes or until it boils or thickens. This is the step to add in 4 doses of your favorite CBD Hemp Oil Tincture mix in tincture. Adjust seasonings to your liking
Move chicken and green beans back into the pan and toss until sauce evenly coats the chicken. Remove from heat and serve. Can be topped with sesame seeds.
